Finals update #4
May. 27th, 2006 08:08 pmAdvanced Mathematics. Where do I begin...
The exam was dead difficult. Much, much more difficult than the previous years' exams, and much, much more difficult than anyone could have expected. Even those who said 'this year's exam will be difficult' hadn't expected it to be THIS difficult. Some students, of course, managed to do all the exercises, but on the whole a big drop on the performance of the students is to be expected. Currently, estimations are that the average grade at Adv. Maths is going to be around 35%.
I've scored about 65-70%. Which, given the situation, isn't bad at all. I'm happy with myself; I did the best I could. And, well, I'd prepared myself expecting a much easier exam than what I encountered. There are people who went over the top to make sure that, however difficult the exam was going to be, they would ace it; I wasn't one of them. But that's okay. I mean, had I chosen to do that, I would have been completely deprived of an online life during the year *g*
Okay, enough babbling about Adv. Maths. I have an Advanced Biology exam on Tuesday morning. And, to tell you the truth, I'm a little worried about it. It's the subject that counts the most in my university access grade, and I'm feeling a little guilty about not having studied more during the year. I did study - quite much, I would say - but it doesn't feel enough, y' know? *guilt*
We'll see.
See ya,
Anna.
