...Why is it that I can't find a way to begin this entry?

Well, I guess it's just because I've never been good at this diary/journal stuff.

(On a side note, I love the blank mood-star. Hehe!)

You know, I was going to write about the whole I-got-my-semester-grades-today thing, but since you don't know the way the Greek educational system works (or... doesn't work - but I'd rather not go there) it would require a lot of explaining I'm not really in the mood to do now and you're probably not *that* interested in it anyway. Suffice it to say that I'm very pleased with my marks :)

I got a Potterpuff icon (Lupin/Tonks, naturally - aren't they cute?) and once I'm done with this I'll go hunting for an L&C one.

Haven't found a title for my LJ yet - although I must say, I like 'Anna's Journal'.

Regarding yesterday's fic, I posted it and received very nice comments for it, yay :) I know I was unsure about it yesterday, but it was because I had just finished it and it wasn't "mature" yet. To tell you the truth, I think it's quite possibly one of the best pieces I've ever written. (BTW - how pathetic is it to go back and read your own story over and over, because you like it so darn much?) Now I want to translate it in Greek.

I've done my fair share of studying today, and I was hoping to have some more computer time before going to bed. Problem is, there's one exercise of Advanced Mathematics pending - and I'm really not in the mood for it. I might, or might not, try doing it later. (Mind you, nobody said I *can* do it. Advanced Mathematics are not exactly my strongest card.)

What else?... I hope this entry makes sense. If you've decided to follow this journal, keep in mind that this is the way most of the entries are going to be - I think "random" would be an appropriate way to put it. Since I never knew how to keep a proper diary, I think I'll just keep it as a rambling space of sorts, and the resulting entries may or may not make sense. With a little bit of luck, you'll learn how to keep up with me fairly quickly :D

Hmm, I think I'm getting a couple of good ideas for the title. Or the subtitle.

Will be back tomorrow, if I have something to say... if not, well, we'll see!

Take care, everyone :)
Anna.

Hope you did OK on the Advanced Mathematics! What topics are you working on now? /me thinks she had better start reviewing math, or she'll be over her head when she gets back to college and Differential Equations . . .

Well, I took a quick look at the exercise. I think I could have done it if I had the courage to get my book and study some similar exercises we had done some time ago, but... I didn't. :p Anyways, the teacher explained it today at class. I'll need to look it over again (and again, and again, o' course) but... well. I won't let Adv. Maths get me down ;)

Our topics? I'm really not sure I can translate this stuff. (Thank God for dictionaries.)
This year's curriculum includes: a) Imaginary numbers? (That z=x+yi stuff.) b) Functions and limits c) Derivatives and d) Integrals.
We're currently at derivatives, particularly to the part where f'' shows where the inflectional points (?) of f are and all that stuff.

(Hmm, if my replies to comments are always going to be so long, maybe I had better reply with journal updates?)

See ya,
Anna :)

Don't worry about long replies--I've seen some longer than the entry themselves! But keep in mind there *is* a limit to comment length, and it might cut you off mid-word, without warning you--you'll see it *after* it's posted, lol.

Imaginary numbers are fun! So are functions, though I don't particularly like limits. Derivatives and integrals are great too . . . and the f'' stuff is *so* much fun. /me grins . . . So if you're stuck on something and can wait a day or two for an answer, I'll be glad to help you out as much as possible.

We're on the same wavelength here, Doran. (Again, LOL) I like imaginary numbers and derivatives but don't like limits. Functions... so and so. As for integrals, I don't know yet :p

Thanks for the offer to help :) I think I'll be all right, between my teacher at school and the other one I'm taking evening classes with, but you never know :)

See ya,
Anna :)
