Yay for Math success! :)
Jan. 5th, 2007 02:05 amI finished the first set of Math exercises. That means I've done a reasonable amount of practice, plus I'll have half a grade up in the semester.
Go me.
I've got one more set, for half a grade more and more practice. It's smaller, but it more difficult - differential equations. Eek. Must study hard. Thankfully, there's lots of time until the Math exam.
...There's less time until the ANATOMY exam, a subject which I haven't studied at all in over a week. Eek.
...But I'm so happy I finished the first set of Math exams I don't give a damn about Anatomy. :p~~ (Will regret it later, of course.)
Won't be leaving with Vivian on Saturday. :( My dad had agreed at first, then realized that Vivian is sick with the flu, which means that even if she's better until Saturday she'll be still able to transmit it to me, which means I'll be sick with the flu the week before or the first week of my exams, which is not good. But he agreed to give us a couple of hours to meet up and chat after the wedding party is over.
I told her that, and she said that's great - and we'll arrange it if she doesn't end up spending the weekend with her father in Giannena.
Sigh.
It wasn't easy to begin with.
Better luck next time.
And now for something that will interest the HP fans in my f-list - has anyone of you seen the advertising campaign for Johnny Walker Black Label "Seriously Appreciated, Seriously Black"?
It's brilliant. And it's just asking for it. I tried to find a picture of it online, but alas, I couldn't. If any of you can find me one, I promise to make the most of it.
Off to take a look at the second set of Math exercises.
(BTW, when did I start saying 'Math'? Or, rather, why did I start saying 'Math'? I always said 'Maths'...)
See ya,
Anna.

Date: 2007-01-05 12:48 am (UTC)LOL! I never made that connection with this saying. But when I first saw the Johnny Walker ad in a huge poster here in Athens, a while ago, I was like "that's BEGGING to be photographed, posted all over the Internet, iconned and whatnot." I mean, 'seriously black'? What are the odds for these two words to be stuck together?
BTW, I don't remember if I ever told you, but I love your 'Sirius Black in denial' icon. ♥
See ya,

Date: 2007-01-05 07:38 pm (UTC)Put that 's' back on maths, Anna! Do it the British way! (also 'maths' is short for 'mathematics', which is plural, so the British really do win this one =P)

Hey, I've got a whole lot of posts on "Maths", from entries dating since February up until June... maybe I should give "Math" the time of the day, too? *ducks just in case*
