a) Would there happen to be an Internet browser that doesn't crash all the freaking time (Firefox) or doesn't pop up annoying pop-ups all the freaking time (IE)?
(Though I guess I could use IE and install a toolbar with incorporated ad-blocking. In your face, Mozilla.)

b) Why do I get asked to enter a username and a password for imagehost.biz every time I click to see my journal? Does it have to do with the fact that I changed my layout? Even if it does, IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. I just used one of the available layouts and only changed the colours a bit.

/end rant.

See ya,
Anna.

Dunno about B, but I do have an answer for A. Use IE and install the Google toolbar. Works like a charm for me! But if you really want to use firefox, uninstall it completely, then re-install it from scratch. Usually does the trick for me (my example being WinAmp since I don't use firefox).

Good luck with it!

I uninstalled it and installed it again. Let's see how this will go...

Thanks,
Anna :)

I'm on FireFox, I don't have any toolbars and I still don't get any pop ups or crash. Which version of FireFox do you have? 2.0? Are you sure you've checked the "block pop up windows" option? It's under Tools - > Options - > Content.

Although in all fairness, I've seem that IE7 is looing much much better now that they let you do tabbed browsing and stuff. If you're going to install a toolbar, I'd suggest you go with either Google or Yahooo.

Cheers,

Gloria.

Thanks for the recommendation, Gloria :) I'll try one of the two if Firefox keeps acting up.

Thank you!

For you too? HUH. I wonder whether there's something wrong with LJ's seasonal layouts...

No, it stopped for me too. Weird. Hmm. Good weird, though, so I'm not complaining.

Heh, my Firefox crashes a lot, but it only does so under specific conditions--when I avoid those, it doesn't crash. I figure it's just unstable 'cause I've got a couple dozen extensions installed . . .

I only have two extensions installed.

We'll see.

See ya,
Anna.
