annabtgTo whomever presented me with two months of paid account time, thank you! ^_^ That was a very pleasant surprise.
(And with good timing too, what with St. Anna's day being tomorrow... :D)
I went to uni early today, so that I could work with Evgenia on our project a bit... I went to the computer lab, logged in and, since she wasn't there yet, I thought I'd check my emails. And that's when I saw the emails from LJ, informing me of the anonymous gift. Gifts, actually, because with LJ's Christmas offer, I get the Extra Userpics add-on, too.
It came in handy. Because, for some reason, since I left for uni and until I got here, I was feeling very depressed. No clue why. The cloudy weather doesn't seem like an important enough reason...
Anyways, so when I got home, still depressed, I figure I'd put my gift into good use. So I spent hours installing the Harry Potter moodtheme and working on a new layout, and I also chatted with two girls I've met in the uni. All that distracted me, and I'm feeling much better now :)
Yes, new layout. Check it out. Gone is the Madly Scientific layout! (If only temporarily *g*)
I installed Firefox again, because IE was driving me nuts with the advertisements popping up all the time. But I'm having some issues with Firefox lately, too - had them since before my Windows failure. Namely, it crashes too often.
Anyways.
