10 random things about me meme

This is basically the same as the Six Things About Me meme, which I have already done twice, but since le_parapluie tagged me, I'll find ten more random things to tell you.


1) As much as I may enjoy a magazine, I never subscribe to it or make a habit of buying it regularly. In fact, with my favourite comics magazine, I prefer buying old issues whenever I find them than buying the new issues *before* they get old.
The only exception to the rule is a sports magazine that comes free with a newspaper every Monday. That we buy every week. (Or, almost.)

2) I can count to ten in 8 languages.

3) I always drink my milk with two spoonfuls of sugar in it.

4) I've come to enjoy driving and I'm looking forward to having my own car because of that. However, I feel very guilty about adding another source of pollution to the environment :(

5) I go through phases in my life where it looks like particular (masculine) names are haunting me. The first one took place during my 8th and 9th grade, with a certain "P" name. Lately, the same thing seems to be happening with a certain "V" name. (The first bearer came two years ago, but his memory still makes me shudder.)

6) There's no way I'll go out to eat and my meal won't include some kind of meat/chicken/fish/seafood. Unless I'm fasting. (When I'm home, though, where Mom does the cooking, sometimes I have no choice in the matter.)

7) People who criticize other people's tastes, hobbies or beliefs annoy the hell out of me. The only exception is fashion taste. I'm open-minded about that too, but some pieces of clothing/jewellery or combos are just asking for it.

8) I often have lunch or dinner in front of the computer. While the computer is turned on and I'm doing stuff, that is.

9) I hate having to edit anything in my fics (especially when it's something that requires much thought, e.g. plot-holes), but I hate their being imperfect even more, so editing always wins.

10) My bathrobe is pale green.

*Is confused* You mean you meet loads of people with that particular name, or you like/hate someone with that particular name? I always seem to like boys with 'J' names at the moment, and a few years ago it was people with 'B' or 'F' surnames, heh.

I can't believe you can count to ten in eight languages! You are scarily smart, haha. I'm actually so intimidated =P

With the "P" name, they were people I liked/got involved with. Two major crushes and two boys I liked for a while and dated (and then dumped).

With the "V" name, it's more complicated; the first bearer was a boy I liked for a while, until I realized how much of a loser he was - but he was always in my mind for ruining the picture of that name for me. Then suddenly I'm being surrounded; a boy I met the summer at driving school and we went out a couple of times, until I realized we have nothing in common; another boy, family friend that I see rarely but grows more gorgeous every time, and I last saw him a couple of weeks ago; two classmates of mine, one who's a fun boy to spend time with and one I'm developing a crush on or maybe I've already developed... and there's also this boy I see at the bus stop often and we sometimes talked, but we hadn't exchanged names. We did last Wednesday, and, guess what. I had a hard time keeping my self from exclaiming, "you too?"
So, even if you don't count the fun boy and the bus stop boy, we're talking four people I liked at some point or other.

LOL, I may be smart, but I don't bite. Humans, I mean :p

Wow, that's even more extreme than mine, heh. I don't know any people with a 'V' name at all! Maybe it's a Greek/English thing =P

3) Ah! I thought I was the only one who did that. Heh. I don't do it so much anymore because it isn't like I need more sugar than I already consume, but still, milk+sugar WINS. (But not more than milk and chocolate. Mmm, chocolate milk.)

How about milk+sugar+cocoa? :D I do that fairly often. But while I can do without cocoa, I can't do without sugar.
