Football yay!
Oct. 11th, 2006 08:27 pmBosnia and Herzegovina vs. Greece: 0-4.
Yay! I'm so very happy! Three games, three wins in a row in the Euro 2008 Championship qualifications.
The game was not good, but we scored three goals in the last 12 minutes, which does miracles for one's mood :D
Now I'm updating while my screen has crashed and is on safe mode (*g*), but I don't want to restart yet because I'm downloading a Muñeca Brava episode. (Julie - I already watched the first one. Predictably, I had some trouble, though it wasn't completely uncomprehensible. The distracting but amusing thing was that it was subtitled... in Romanian *g*)
C.S.I. will be on in a while.
And, that's all from me for today.
See ya,
Anna.

Date: 2006-10-12 02:17 am (UTC)By the way, thought you'd appreciate the following story ;) I used to record random episodes of telenovelas, right? So the channel that aired them would sometimes in between episodes, air music videos by Latin artists (Thalia, Natalia Oreiro, Marcelo Morelo - which is where I saw the video I was looking for for so long), and sometimes non-Latin artists. I have part of a music video recorded but the beginning is taped over, and the tape ends before the video ends, so I didn't know the name of the song or the artist for a looong time. And I was dying to find it in its complete form because it's such a catchy song! I loved it. Anyway, I couldn't even figure out what *language* it was in, let alone make out lyrics so I can Google.
When I was rewatching my old tapes a few days ago I saw that video and caught a key word I could Google. Found it by luck... It was a Greek song, To Kati by Keti Garbi. Downloaded it. Peace of mind after 6 years of wondering if I'll ever find it!!!

Date: 2006-10-12 09:58 am (UTC)Yep, Romanian. *g* I suspected it right away because it had obvious Latin roots yet had a sort of 'Eastern' look with the weird accents. So I Googled a couple of characteristic words, and voilà, they appeared in texts from Romanian sites *g*
