I managed to finish my LJ layout revamping, thanks to [livejournal.com profile] christn7's tip. Dave, you're a star :)

I am currently feeling a bit blue. Which is very stupid of me, because I had a great day. Woke up and watched the daily dubbed episode of La Mentira, lazed around a bit, went to class, went to a cafeteria with the classmates I met on Monday :) They seem like really cool kids.

What else? ...Nothing much. Got driving lesson tomorrow at 9:30 a.m.. I swear, I'll never be able to get a licence. I have absolutely NO spatial perception. I can't tell where the car fits, and where it doesn't. I can't tell if the car's going on a straight line or it's straying away. And when the instructor tells me to leave one meter's distance from the other car, I have no clue how much distance this equals to :-/ Always been bad at this kind of stuff.

I'm off to find a way to amuse myself. See ya.

Anna ♥

Cool layout! And awww about the no spatial perception (spatial with a T, take note ;)). I found it tricky at first, but got the hang of it after a while. But then quite a few years before I remember having difficulties figuring out whether I had 1/2 or 2/3 of a pitcher full, so . . . maybe it's just one of those skills that has to be developed more.

Also, another misspelling--on your "lair" blurb on your layout page, you might wanna change "spents" to "spends". ;)

If I can get my license, anyone can! I have like no spatial perception LOL. It's taken me almost 8 years to say, well maybe I can't fit in this space... :p I also suck at distance. I still can't pick out a meter to save my life.

They seem like really cool kids.

I'm imagining university students around your age, so around 18... Kinda hard to still see them as kids. ;)

Keep on practising on your driving. Eventually, you'll get the hang of it. So good luck today!

18 year olds can be kids. if it looks like a duck, acts like a duck, quacks like a duck, it's probably a duck. most 18 year olds i have known, were definitely kids.

spatial skills: i dont know how bad yours are, but mine are pretty bad. so i got my dad to go with me thro the routes i have to drive a lot, and help me find landmarks. like, if i'm turning left on this one street, i cant turn if the cars are nearer than a certain sign. the downside is that i still cant drive anywhere unfamiliar. but it gets me to school and so forth. maybe something like that would help you?

*huggles*

I'm slowly learning the places where I go for practice (and they're roads I'll be using often), but the examination will take place elsewhere :-/

I drove on the highway today. ! It wasn't very difficult - all I needed to do was stick to the right lane. But when the speed got very high... I was a little freaked out. I was on fourth gear, and right then I hear my instructor say, 'fifth gear'! I was like, 'I was thinking about switching to third, actually...' I felt so relieved when we left the highway.

I must get used to driving on highways, though - the new highway is the easiest and fastest route to the Ilisia campus...

See ya,
Anna.
