Melancholy update
Sep. 17th, 2006 08:50 pmIt would be really nice if these depression crises just stopped coming over already. I've never been one to get them so often.
Perhaps it's because, at this time of the year, I was used to being busy with school. Now I spend my days home, mostly - I do go to gym and occasionally have a driving class, but it's not the same - so maybe it's boredom leading to depression. Classes at uni don't start until 17 October, which is good news and bad news at the same time. Good news: More vacation time, yay! Bad news: And what am I going to do with it?
If the Muse would come over at least...
I was considering going to watch the Athletics World Cup taking place here in Athens, but didn't. Was too bored to bother. Now I'm regretting it. It would have been cool.
Something good that happened today: Olympiakos won (in football). (It annoys me very much typing 'football' and feeling the need to replace it with 'soccer' because many on my f-list are Americans. For future reference, whenever I say football, I'm referring to soccer, unless otherwise stated, okay?)
And no, I didn't watch the match. Was online and watching athletics at the same time. My TV doesn't receive very well the channel that was transmitting the match, and I didn't feel like leaving my room. I'd just change the channel every so often to keep track of the score.
Must sleep less. I spend almost half my day sleeping, because I find no reason to get up from the bed. Or to stay up, once I do get up from the bed. Which brings us back to the fact that I need to occupy myself with something. But the problem is not that I have no things to do (there are hundreds of fics waiting to be read, for one), but that I'm not in the mood for them.
Meh.
Sorry for boring you all with this.
See ya,
Anna.

Date: 2006-09-18 02:25 am (UTC)Sidenote: Dave? It's not Dave Dave. Like Aussie Dave who's fanfic I'm prone to sickly worshipping sometimes? :p
Oh and I totally assumed you were talking about soccer LOL. Like I wish I lived overseas so I could call it football instead of using football as word for the retarded guys in helmets who hit each other.

Date: 2006-09-18 08:25 pm (UTC)All I can think of is doing something to pass the boredom, like a hobby, or more writing (but obviously you can't do that with a lost muse)?
It will forever be FOOTBALL! :D
