Because some people *cough[livejournal.com profile] doranwencough* won't be satisfied unless I do this meme again...

Previously did it last May.

Now:

Meme: Tell six things about yourself and then tag six more people to do the same. NO TAG BACKS.

1. When I was little, I used to watch all the beauty pageants on the TV, and wanted to go to one and be crowned 'Star Hellas' when I'd grow up :D

2. I have a *really* hard time with 'What's your favourite [whatever]?' questions.

3. My room is the most high-tech room in my house. I've got a radio/cassette/CD player, a TV, a video, a laptop (plus wireless mouse and speakers), a DSL modem, a telephone (which is almost always plugged out because the modem is plugged in - I need to buy a multi-socket thingy), plus this is where my mobile phone, the portable CD/mp3 player and the mp3 player reside.

4. I always wanted to have fancy pens, pencils and notebooks for school, but I rarely did. Though on second thought, plain old blue notebooks with the etiquette on the front are much more convenient than colourful notebooks with no etiquette, and I always carried one pen and one pencil at school, which would last until I lost them or ran out of ink, so it was better that I didn't often get them :D This year I had some colourful notebooks for the evening classes, and in some cases I'd take the wrong notebook with me at class :p

5. I always loved Gymnastics, but never dared tell my parents I wanted to do it. When I discovered my body was very flexible and I could have been very good at it (my swimming trainer noticed it), I was 11 and a half already and it was too late to start :(

6. I hate parting with material things (toys, notebooks, notes, clothes...). I like keeping them just to know they're there. I also keep a lot of stuff in case I need it, though I rarely (if ever) need it.

I'm tagging [livejournal.com profile] incoherent_me, [livejournal.com profile] meringue_kiss (if it doesn't take her too much time), [livejournal.com profile] oreoclouds029, [livejournal.com profile] lily_radcliffe, [livejournal.com profile] t_w_a_drummer and [livejournal.com profile] enchantedteacup, but leaving it optional.

See ya,
Anna.

Huzzah! My room is... the second-most-high-tech room! It has an iPod, a radio, an iHome (which is utterly useless), two computers, an LCD monitor, and a phone.

But my dad has possibly eight-plus computers in his office. EIGHT. *facepalms*

Agh, I must do your meme. Will get to it tomorrow, as I can never stay up past 10. *facemonitors*

But yay! I am tagged! *happy*

Eight? Whatever does someone need eight computers for?

I remembered you like being tagged! Hee! :)

See ya,
Anna.

LOL, I *totally* forgot about you doing it before. Clarwyn tagged you, so I figured you still had to do it . . .

As for gymnastics, they do it at the academy I went to, and you can join with little to no prior training, and do a lot of neat stuff. Come to think of it, what they call gymnastics is probably more like acrogymnastics . . .

Yeah, and then I heard that a girl who is in the Greek national team of rhythmic gymnastics started doing it at 13. Image But anyways. Without gymnastics, I had more time to dedicate to other productive activities (including fic *g*).

Acrogymnastics? Hmm, must be kind of like Thodoris does... we call it General Gymnastics over here.

See ya,
Anna.

Well, what we call gymnastics at our academy isn't the sort of gymnastics they do for the Olympics. Technically *that* is gymnastics, and what they do at our academies is actually acrogymnastics. Acrogymnastics does not have the parallel bars, balance beam, all that sort of stuff--has rather large mat and people doing various stuff on it, often in a special choreographed way. I *think*.

From: [identity profile] annabtg.livejournal.com
Yeah, that's *exactly* what Thodoris does.

I have a video of his team... not very high quality, but I could upload it for you if you're interested.

See ya,
Anna.

P.S.:

It's 808 MB though. Dunno how much I can compress it, but I can turn it to .rar format and see.

Oy! Uhhh, I wouldn't mind seeing it, but that's a bit much. Not sure what sort of limit of b/w used they have on me here, and I think that's just too much--last I remember it was something like 500 mb.

Omg, I'm such a packrat. In an attempt to clean out my room a little before the move to grad school this week, like every other sentence out of my mouth was, "Wellll...I haven't worn it/used it in X years, but..." I'm a work in progress. :p

*waves* Hi, Jen! Nice to see you stopping by!

Mind if I friend?

And... yeah, that sounds familiar *g*

See ya,

Yay, I'll have a new friend! :p But really, I'm attempting to de-lurk on LJ once again.

Me too. *G* Inherited from my dad. My mom, oddly enough, does not have it whatsoever.

That's kinda like things are in my home. My dad keeps a lot of stuff (though he has the rare ability to make everything come in handy at some point). My mom is the one always begging us to empty some drawers :p

See ya,
Anna.

Will do it as soon as my LJ stops being gay.

I'm sure you could of started Gymnastics at 11.

Perhaps I could have.

Then again, if I had, who knows if I'd have found this place... ;)

Anna.

Ooooo, I did this meme a while ago (http://incoherent-me.livejournal.com/9019.html) except it was five....weird habits....plus it was like a year ago....and it's definately not the same meme...

*cowers under your demanding stare* Okay, if I get time off college I shall do it then.....

I can relate very to number 2. I always struggle with "What's your favourite band?" because for those questions there's so many answers...plus, I'm indecisive.

From: [identity profile] annabtg.livejournal.com
Demanding stare? Moi??

*points at the word 'optional'*

Schmooooooooooze,
Anna.

From: [identity profile] timetraveled.livejournal.com
*did not see optional until you poitned out * Poop, sorry.

But anyway, I will imagine the real Moony with a demanding stare because that's sexy of course :D

Schmooooooooze. (Every time I type it, it makes me think more and more of a disturbing kiss sound).

Date: 2006-09-05 06:14 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] annabtg.livejournal.com
I'm reminded of 'smooch' whenever I type/read it.

(Which doesn't bother me; besides 'kisses!' is a common sign off among friends in Greek... but if it disturbs you, we can stop it!)

See ya,
Anna (currently denying her Moony persona to let you imagine the real Moony without problems).

I wish kissing was a common sign off here. Any excuse to kiss cute boy cheeks (the cheeks on the face kind).

Oh no, never stop the schmooooooze thing! It amuses me ^_^

Nyah, nyah, nyah nyah, nyah, we get kisses and you don't! *taunts*

[/end 5-year-old mode]

You should move to Greece. You'd enjoy our open-hearted-ness.

Schmoooooooooze,
Anna Image
