Why can't I watch a game without jinxing it for my team?
Now I turned the TV off. Watch as Greece starts scoring like there's no tomorrow. *prays that the jinxing she gave to her team wasn't so heavy as to last for the next 20 minutes of the game*
Damn, and I really want to watch this game. Maybe if I go watch with my brothers on their own TV?
*grumbles*
And yeah, I don't really believe in that stuff, but when it happens so many times you kinda start thinking that you'd better stay away, just in case.
Off to watch with my brothers. And if Greece doesn't get ahead in score by the end of the third period, I'm confining myself away from all televisions.

I don't believe in luck as an entity (not even an immaterial one), and I don't believe someone can be successful (or unsuccessful) in everything they do. But I call myself unlucky, which means that in a whole week spent playing Monopoly with my brothers and cousin, I didn't even win once, or that in three consecutive football matches of my team, I turned on the TV in the last five minutes and watched the opponent score two goals :p
It's just the little things, really. But not all of them. Because, believe it or not, I've actually watched games my team has won :D (LOL.) And sometimes what seems like bad luck ends up not being.
And these are too many words that make too little sense, so I'm shutting up.

ok i'm taking that a bit too seriously, i know. but i *do* sort of believe in this stuff, just because it always seems to work. heh. i have good luck with sports tho. i have never been to or watched a game, where the team i was cheering for lost. i have bad luck/jinx in other areas... :/
