Vacation update

Hi there,

First of all, thank you all for your wishes :) It's the 23rd and I'm here, as promised.

I'm here in Kalamata and having a great time. The routine is the same as every year - breakfast, then some alone time (on compy or reading - as every year, we visited the book exposition and bought some books), then Monopoly (or other games, but so far it's only been Monopoly) with brothers and cousin, then a bath in the sea, shower and getting dressed to go out for dinner :)

(Don't expect picspam when I'm back. There's no point of taking pics, because nothing we do is 'new'.)

The 'away from Internet' challenge went great. Take *that*, Carole! :p~~~~~
I won't say I didn't miss you guys, because I did, but... well. Turns out that I can't get connected from my room anyway (I tried yesterday, after midnight so that it would be the 23rd already, and I got the message that 'the number you are calling does not exist'. HUH??). And getting online with an Internet card from the hotel compys (I know that technically the plural of compy should be 'compies', but doesn't it look really wrong like that?) costs 8 euros per hour. Outrageous, I say!

...But I'm using one anyway. Damn my Internet addiction. (Well, not really.)

The university bases didn't come out today! WAAAAH *sobs* They announced a couple of days ago that they'll be out tomorrow afternoon. So I'll tell you then.

But me is very impatient. And curious. Oh so curious... *whimpers*

Ironically, though, the Greek Minister of Education is here on vacation, in this very hotel. How's that for a coincidence?

Cath - went over 'Potential' once. I want to take another look at it, but since I can't connect to the Internet from my laptop, you probably won't have it back before Sunday :-( I loved it, though.

(For whomever reads Harry Potter fic and enjoys introspective, slightly angsty pieces, go take a look when she posts.)

My own fic is going so so. I've written some more, but the most important thing is that, after some consideration, I decided that some parts need rewriting. So I'm focused on these right now. I want to start posting in September, because, as José (a FoLC friend reading it) said, it would be better to post before Book 7 comes out :p

I think that's all for now. I'll try to catch up with as many LJ posts as I can before I run out of time, and will update tomorrow with the university bases. (Finally!)

thank you so much, besides the joke, you just solved a question my sister and i have been trying to remember for weeks. we can never remember so and so's name. ROFL seriously!! "cheerleader! (that one we cant remember) whatsername! THE UGLY ONE!"

of course, we could have just gone back and checked. but that would be no fun ;)

Haha, yeah. I saw "So and So" and that's what my mind popped to immediately. Even though I haven't been on that site in years, that's still my mental impression of So and So. Yay Teen Girl Squad.

Happy to help with the memory jumpstart! I can't stand when that happens. ;P
