Fic troubles

I've been working on Through Times Of War these days, and I had this scene all worked out in my head. And I thought I'd type it down today.

*whines* It's not working. It's coming out awful. I can't even drive it to the end of the scene - which I have ALL FIGURED OUT - to see if I can tweak the middle afterwards. It's so crappy.

And the worst thing is, I've been planning this scene since I was writing The Journey Of The Phoenix. It was one of the scenes I knew would *be* in the sequel and would play a *crucial* role in it. It was all ready to be written once I'd be there - and now I'm there, and it's not coming out.

Waaah... *whines some more*

Hardwarely updated :D

At long last, I stopped procrastinating on it and I bought a microphone! (I can see doranwen doing a little dance there *g*) Also installed Skype :)) If you want to talk to me sometime, my username is annabtg.

Also bought a Bluetooth USB Dongle, to be able to connect my mobile phone to my laptop, and a bag so that I can actually take my laptop with me in a computer bag like a normal person (I used to carry it around in a box. *headdesk*).

Only the phone filters left to buy. Yeah, I forgot to mention - I found out that the reason my DSL connection momentarily stops working when we pick up the phone is that we haven't plugged filters to the phones. Honestly, though, shouldn't someone have told us we need to use filters? How were we supposed to know? And that guy who sold us the DSL kit said 'everything was included'. Yeah, right.

(Of course, I've known that we need to buy filters since June, and it's August. Me, procrastinate? Nah!)

Next on the shopping list: Go buy some shirts and a new pair of shoes BEFORE THE SALES PERIOD IS OVER, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD.

Yeah. Will do that. On Monday. I promise.
