In case of injury/death (God forbid)

There have been times when I've wondered - if one of us gets injured or dies, God forbid, how will the others find out about it? There have been a couple of deaths in the FoLCdom (though it were people I didn't know) and sometimes people just disappear (I'm wondering about a certain FoLC right now), so... well, wouldn't it be nice to know if something happens to someone?

(Kinda morbid, I know, but life's like that.)

I never moved further than just thoughts and ideas, but knightin_gayle did, and she came up with a plan. I think it would be a good idea if we adopted it.
