I was tagged by [livejournal.com profile] beansideirae, so there you go.

Instructions:

1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 3 sentences on your LJ along with these instructions.
5. Don’t you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest.
6. Tag five people.

*grabs nearest book*

*nearest book is a dictionary, and thus has no sentences*

*next two nearest books are also dictionaries*

*next nearest book is Ancient Greek textbook, which has less than 123 pages*

*grabs the book directly above her head, from the shelf above the desk with the many school books*

*follows the instructions, though is not sure what qualifies as a sentence. Supposes that headers don't.*

I've been feeling a little depressed for the past... half-hour or so. Dunno why. Might have to do with the fact that this is my difficult time of the month, hence leading to mood-swings. Keeping my mind occupied with this meme actually made things a little better. So thanks for the tagging, Clarwyn, and sorry for the curses I mentioned above :D

See ya,
Anna.

Ooo, yay! I've been tagged! I love being tagged. =] It makes me feel oddly loved. (Arhar, the post amused me immensely, Anna-luv.)

Aw... I hope you feel better, though. Strangely, I don't get all mood-swingy-y during my 'time of the month', so I dun really know what that feels like, but I hope it wears off. Eat chocolate. ♥

Ah, good to know you like being tagged. I'll keep you in mind for future memes *g*

And yes, chocolate is good. I've had lots of chocolate today. Honey & almond milk chocolate, yum. :D

See ya,
Anna.

All those asterisks made me laugh :D

There's something very Moony about grabbing dictionaries one after the other. Heh heh....

Curse you time of the month! *shakes fist*

Glad they did. I always have so much fun reading your entries I sometimes feel I have to return you the favour somehow.

I'M THE QUEEN OF DICTIONARIES. FEAR ME. GET ME MARRIED TO MOONY.

There are 10 dictionaries in a 50 cm radius from my laptop. (That's about 20 inches for you.) And no, when I say 10, I don't mean "many" - I mean exactly this: 10. For translations to and from 4 different languages. (I still need a modern Greek dictionary, though. For research purposes, if anything. It's good to know your language.)

Yeah, curse it! We're going to my uncle and aunt who live by the sea tomorrow, and I won't be able to go to the beach. DAMN.

See ya,
Anna :)

I thought I had many dictionaries. That's just crazy.

I havce too many encyclopaedias and macropaedias (whatever they are written)

but that's just too many dictionaries in a very small amount of physical space.

haha... al the asteriscs made me laugh a lot. good =)

LOL, I need them for my online writing, so I keep them beside me or in the shelf above me. I've got English-Greek, Greek-English, Spanish-Greek, Greek-Spanish, Greek-French, French-Greek... they're not actually too many if you think that I have to cover 4 languages *g*

Glad the asteriscs made you laugh! :D

See ya,
Anna.

Hope you have fun at your uncle and aunt who live by the sea :)

By the way, did you see the recent pic of Tonks with purple hair? I'm wondering what your reaction to it is since you love Remus/Tonks so much. If you haven't seen the pic, the link is: http://www.mugglenet.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=1898&pos=1

lol, greatly amused :D *counts* hmm, i only have 3 dictionaries near me. english, english-spanish, english-irish.

and hey, no cursing at me :P how was i to know every book near you was a textbook?

some of us dont get moody at that time of month. (that's because we're moody all the time and you cant tell any difference....) lol

eating ice cream will make you feel worse physically, or so i have been told, but it certainly does wonders for the soul :D if you dont have to be anywhere, eat ice cream. if you have to act "ok" not-in-pain, perhaps dont eat quite so much ice cream. (it's the milk)

I had a great time, thank you :)

I saw the pic. To tell you the truth, I see why they'd find that woman Tonks-like, and the hair is okay - I mean, Tonks can do whatever she wants with her hair, so that shouldn't be a problem!!

I can't see this woman as Tonks at all, however, because in that photo and with that haircut, she strongly reminds me of a classmate of mine (a girl who had tried a few different colours in her hair, in fact, but never purple).

I'm sticking to my mental image, which has nothing to do with the film version. (The Tonks in my icon is quite close to my mental image - which one do you prefer, her or the film version?)

See ya,
Anna.

LOL, it's okay, I forgive you :D

I think things such as being moody during your time of the month, or wanting/needing to eat particular foods, or whatever, depend on your organism; as in, different things work for different persons. During that time, I usually cut back on food, but eat much more chocolate :p

See ya,
Anna.

thank you :P i forgive you for cursing at me :P

what you said is probably true. i was referring to some study my mom told me about, that milk foods have some chemical affect on your body that makes cramping worse. (wow, that was profound and precise, wasnt it!!) anyway i dont remember the details and i have no idea if it's true. i dont get too bad mood-wise, but pain-wise i have a terrible time, so i try not to do/eat things that will make it worse. but if i'm not going anywhere anyway, i dont worry about it, lol....ice cream/chocolate is necessary sometimes ;)

I found the picture quite a surprise.....not sure what to make of it to be honest. I've always pictured Tonks different I suppose. I think I get a mental image of her mainly from fan art. I've always pictured the two like this or this. I suppose we can only wait and see until the movie.

I like these pieces of fanart, however neither comes close to my mental images. Especially not Remus - while he's well done in both versions (ignoring the scars), I pictured him slightly older than he looks there, and also... with curlier hair. No idea where I got that from - I think I've loosely based his image to my father (probably because both are teachers? Don't ask me how my mind works, please.)...

I'm tempted to get pencil and paper and start drawing furiously - not that I'll manage to draw anything remotely resembling what I have in mind, but... whatever.

See ya,
Anna.
