Fic troubles

annabtgI've been working on Through Times Of War these days, and I had this scene all worked out in my head. And I thought I'd type it down today.
*whines* It's not working. It's coming out awful. I can't even drive it to the end of the scene - which I have ALL FIGURED OUT - to see if I can tweak the middle afterwards. It's so crappy.
And the worst thing is, I've been planning this scene since I was writing The Journey Of The Phoenix. It was one of the scenes I knew would *be* in the sequel and would play a *crucial* role in it. It was all ready to be written once I'd be there - and now I'm there, and it's not coming out.
Waaah... *whines some more*
