I thought I'd do that, since I have some news...

- Booked tickets to the Deep Purple concert. (YAY!!!!!!) Will go pick them up one of these days.

- Started with the driving licence procedures. Today I went to get a Tax Registry Number and have my photo taken (I look like a zombie, with one eye bigger than the other *shudders* Me = not photogenic.). I also have to visit a pathologist and an eye-doctor, pay at the bank for these visits (dunno why it works this way. But anyways, I think I'll be spared the visit at the bank - Dad says he can probably go do it without me.) and then it's time to start the classes.

Also - I was going through my LJ entries the other day, and I think it's rather remarkable how many of them were fic-related during school time. And now... zip. I'm thinking it's a matter of momentum; if you're busy, the Muse gets busy. If you're lazing around, the Muse gets lazing around.

Or maybe it's a self-defence mechanism. When you have studying (or work) to do, the Muse tries to protect you from it. When you don't have anything you need to be protected from, the Muse goes on vacation.
(Not saying that studying (or work) is something to be protected from... it's just a theory that might apply to some lazy people. Not me.)

Might I hope that she'll be back, now that I'll be busy with driving lessons (theoretical *and* practical), and gym, and TV? (Hey, following religiously some TV programs is a chore in itself! You must make sure not to lose an episode, or you get lost!)

Me is hungry now, but will not eat anything because then she'll have to wait at least an hour before going to the gym, and she can't wait that long, because me is very bored.

So me is off to get dressed and go to the gym.

See ya,
Anna.

P.S.: Me must stop talking like Dobby.

*laughs* Dobby is teh awesome.

The Muse is evil. Mine is, anyway. She abandoned me just when I had nothing to do. Me is thinking that I should give up fanfic writing and become a full-time reader. This could work out. :)

Ooo, gym. I'm dead-awful at any kind of sport, so you're probably more athletic than I am (it wouldn't take much). Psht.

I assure you, honey, I hadn't done any exercise in 6 years :D I desperately needed it, and it seems to be doing me good (though it's early yet).

See ya,
Anna :)

My Muse is the same way. Y'know, I was *actually* getting ideas for a fic I was challenged to write (by whom, I'm forgetting now, lol). But I had to get stuff done and go to bed, so I did that. And those ideas are vanishing, plus any enthusiasm/momentum I had for wanting to write it . . .

Actually, I think it was Bethy's particular challenge--all the languages. But don't worry, I'm getting your challenge worked into the mix. *g*

ROTFL!! I think that's exactly it! *g* It's got to be. *wonders where her Muse has got to...*

YAY on booking the tickets. Can't wait for your concert fdk. When's the big night?

Muse: I think it's even worse than that. mine strikes when I'm awfully busy. So I relate to the busy-lazy theory.Tricky thing is you can't force your muse.

I also noticed that muse was more likely to strike when I'm abroad. 'cause I guess, even if it's for work, I'm still freed of anything else, thus more inclined to let muse lure me into writing fic. And since I'll be in UK soon...I have good hope for that ITA sequel. Also depends on mean of transportation: writing flows more easily when flying. Though when above, I prefer to watch outside (up, down, around) than surrendering to muse. Especially if we're talking minus 3 hours flight. But train also gives you plenty of time. I'll put that to the test when heading UK.

And since I'm not making any sense, I'll just wish you a happy gym and go.
Oh, give Dobby another sock (to pay for your Dobbidh lessons). Still, how about getting your own domestic elfe, huh? ;)

Carole

Yay, socks!! *g* Dobby loves socks :p

Me does need a domestic elf, since, as you had the chance to find out yourself, me is completely clueless at housekeeping.

Big night's on Monday, July 24th *rubs hands*

Will be hoping that your Muse strikes back! :D

See ya,
Anna.
