Talking it out
Mar. 5th, 2006 06:50 pmWhy is it that every time I turn on the computer I immediately get a headache and start feeling sleepy?
*pouts*
I'm starting to feel like a drug addict... I know I should spend less hours per day on the computer, but can't stop myself. And the worst thing is that even being on the computer isn't as much fun under these circumstances. How can one concentrate on their fics, when they have a headache? *pouts some more*
I think I'll follow Carole's method and try some boosting music. /me goes to her 'Pop' folder and presses 'Play'.
Wow, feeling better already.
I'll also put my Advanced Physics homework aside. Tomorrow is a holiday for us Orthodox Christians ("Clean" Monday, first day of the Lent) and I won't have school or evening class. Which means that the next Adv. Physics evening class will be on Friday. In view of that, our teacher has given us some photocopies with a total of twelve exercises to do until then. I tried the first and couldn't do it. 'No matter, let's just go on to the next,' I thought. But, alas! Even more difficult. He doesn't really expect me to figure out this stuff on my own, does he? Mechanics was never my strong card at Physics (/me reminisces about last year's Thermodynamics, it was soooooo much fun!) and these exercises are just... agh.
On the bright side, I'm doing much better at Adv. Maths lately. Yesterday I took a (quite difficult) exam my evening classes teacher gave me. I don't think I've scored less than 96%! /me does the happy dance.
I feel much better now. Much, much better. Venting and upbeat music can work miracles, it seems :) Off to do something not homework-related.
See ya!
Anna.
