Finals update #5
May. 30th, 2006 07:00 pmI rocked the Advanced Biology exam!! :)) I think I'm well on my way to 100%.
Well, it was only fair. I did a *lot* of studying during the past three days. I enjoy Biology in general, and this year Adv. Biology was my favourite subject. (Can't say the same about the teacher I had at school, though...) Anyways, I'd started this year knowing that I would have absolutely no problem with Adv. Biology, and thinking of it as my strongest card... which gave me a sense of over-self-confidence. Thus my anxiousness about it on Saturday - I was afraid my over-self-confidence led me to not studying enough during the year, and blah, blah, blah... But I studied it a lot during these days (and it was a real pleasure). Also did every exercise possible with my father, who is a Biology teacher. (Which wasn't that much of a pleasure. The exercises, I mean, Dad is a nice study companion.)
Yes, there's a reason for my babbling. I'm trying to avoid studying Advanced Physics for Thursday's exam. This was the subject I liked the least during the year. Yeah, I'm not saying 'hated', because I didn't exactly hate it. It was interesting learning all that stuff, and some exercises were nice, even. What I can't stand is a particular set of exercises (from the dreaded Fourth Chapter... brr. I'd tell you what it's about, but the dictionary isn't very helpful.). Also, some awfully long formulas.
y=2Acos2π[(r1-r2)/2λ]sin2π[(t/T)-(r1+r2)/2λ]
*throws darts*
(I tried to type it by heart, but I forgot the 2π's and the λ's. Gah.)
Do you understand now why I don't want to study Adv. Physics? *whines* Can't I read some fic instead? *whines some more*
On a side note - hi, Sophie (
t_w_a_drummer)! I hope I didn't scare you away already...
Off to browse through some entertaining sites, in hopes that they will lift my mood a little... and get me to studying mood. (Hah! As if.)
See ya,
Anna.
