Song meme!

Okay, so here's the meme. Hope it didn't end up too obscure. Strangely, this time the songs that came up were relatively more well-known. Also - I limited myself only to songs I knew the lyrics to, but I didn't skip more than 4 or 5. (WMP's randomness doesn't seem to be very random, though... there were at least 4 instances where I ended up with a song I'd already used.)

Comments are screened, so as not to serve as spoilers.


INSTRUCTIONS:
Step 1: Open up whatever MP3 program you use and add every song in your collection.
Step 2: Put it on random.
Step 3: Pick your favorite lines from the first 20 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing the song.
Step 4: Post and let everyone you know guess what song and artist the lines come from.
Step 5: Cross out the songs when someone guesses correctly.
Step 6: DON'T GOOGLE THEM.

OK. I guess I'm not taking too much risk by assuming title is "somebody told me". Darn, I still can't remember the band. I know the name ended by -ers, though.

the creepers? the bikers? the hikers? the sleepers? the killers? the freakers?

OK, I give up. But I was sure there also was the 'ee' sound or the letter 'i' in the name. considering the music genre, maybe something more gothic. er... the gothikers? no it was too syllabes. Oh, well...
