Decisions, decisions.
Jan. 28th, 2007 03:46 pmSo the Physiology I exam is coming up on Thursday. I've started studying for it (read: gone over 4 chapters out of the 25 we have been given) and I'm pretty sure it's going to be a big fat FAILURE.
I'd been thinking about it for a while, and now that monthly pains got me so behind on my studying anyway, I think it's time to make the decision: give up on Physiology I and start early studying on the other subjects I have, hoping to either pass it with what I know (HA, HA) or just take the exam on another exam period, or continue with Physiology I anyway andfreak out about study the rest of the subjects when they're due? (For the record, the other subjects are Mathematics, Inorganic Chemistry I and Physics. Mathematics and Physics are easy, Chemistry is not so easy but I've done an extra credit project so I have room to write a 4 and still pass.)
I'd give up on Physiology I, only I'd hate myself knowing I could have made (or at least pretended to make) the effort and I didn't. So... I don't think I will.
I shared my predicament with my father, too. His response was to bring me his report card from when he was a university student and show me that he'd only passed three out of six subjects in his first semester. (Which supposedly means I'm doing a stellar work, with my estimated 2/2.) Moral of the story: don't worry.
Yeah.
Call me superstitious, but... wish me luck, guys.
See ya,
Anna.

Date: 2007-01-28 08:25 pm (UTC)Your dad is so cool. I don't think my dad would ever admit to failing university courses. Although he did detail several methods of cheating on exams to me a couple of years ago, which supposedly he'd used (not that I used them). *g*

Date: 2007-01-28 08:48 pm (UTC)And, lol. My dad says he's never used cheatsheets, but that in the university exams it was easy to 'cooperate' with your classmates. *g* (Which I've already found for myself, lol. Though I'm the one telling, not being told.)
See ya,
Anna.
