Inspiration-struck

annabtgIt feels so good when the Muse stops by...
An idea for a Lupin/Tonks angsty fic had been floating in and out of my head for a few days, until a couple of hours ago, as I was grudgingly doing my homework, it came forth and demanded to be written.
Of course, I'm the kind of writer who double-triple-quadruple-checks every word she writes to make sure it works *perfectly* before she moves on to the next word. Plus I still had my homework in front of me, so I was constantly switching from fic to homework and back again. (Still do, in fact - I haven't finished either.) But this feeling of creativity that's overflowing me is pure bliss. Even though I've barely managed more than half a page in the fic, it's coming out exactly like I want it to. Besides, the fic is hardly going to be longer than one page, so... we're in a good track.
I'm often in the mood for writing, but I hadn't felt such an intense rush of creativity for a while. It's amazing.
On the other hand, I still have to finish my homework. Well, I guess I'll be going to bed a little later than usual today...
