Exams + Marauders discussion
Feb. 4th, 2007 03:17 amSo, having established that my Mathematics exam isn't going to take place because of the sit-in (and even if it does I'm not going - I can't do that to myself; that 'will-it-won't-it' is driving me crazy), my next exam is on Monday, 12 February - Inorganic Chemistry I.
I tried to study one of the SOS chapters yesterday. I read one paragraph and I could hardly understand anything. I tried it again from the beginning today, read two paragraphs, but again, not much registered.
I'm almost wishing that the sit-in will continue and we'll miss the exam.
That's what happens when your teacher is an idiot.
(subject change)
For the Marauders whores in my f-list:
mctabby (aka. one of the greatest sources of amusement in the HP fandom) did a "personal canon" meme, which requires you to list your personal canon "so the stuff that has nothing whatsoever to do with the books, but in your head is irrefutably what would have happened" (sic). Somewhere in her list is this:
Young Snape really was "part of a gang of Slytherins" - Harry just missed seeing the end of the Underpants Scene, when the gang of Slytherins rushed to Snape's rescue and hexed MWPP into the lake.
Had you ever thought of it that way? I hadn't. And it's not even that much of a stretch.
Doesn't it make room for all sorts of awesome possibilities?
Cath, didn't you say you were looking for long fic ideas?
*is excited*
Yeah, this is an interpretation I would happily buy.
See ya,
Anna.
