LJ musings
Aug. 30th, 2006 01:56 amAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH. Stuck. (On Through Times Of War.)
...and since I'm posting, I'll take this chance to tell you something (not HP-fic related,
doranwen, don't run screaming).
I find myself having trouble updating this journal with RL events. As I said in one of my first entries, never in my life had I managed to keep a diary, nor did I ever feel the need to have one as an account of my life - "today I did this, tomorrow I'll do that." And while I like reading about all the trivial details in my friends' lives, and I know that some (many? all?) of you like reading about them too, I can't find it in myself to write things like "today, I went to school and saw in which university departments my classmates have been admitted" (which I did). I feel like there's no point in saying that - if it was something annoying, I'd rant about it. If it was something exciting, I'd post to share my joy with you. But it's nothing more than just a fact, and I don't feel the need to share it. It happened, period. No need to dwell on it.
Why I'm telling you this? Not sure. I thought you should know. Then again, I'm really inconsistent in these things, and maybe it's just the effect of the summer on me. For all I know, when university starts and my rhythms of life change, I'll be writing detailed lists of what I did and what I didn't do all day. But this LJ's purpose is to allow me to share any thoughts I have in mind at a given moment, and these are my thoughts at the moment called 'now', so there :p
...And if you made any sense out of this, you deserve a medal.
See ya,
Anna.
