You've got three guesses to find out where I spent one and a half hour this morning.

Ha, I knew you wouldn't find it.

I went... to the gym.

*gasp* *shock* *faint*

No, really. I went and subscribed for one year. 149 euros (where's the funky E?) plus 20 for the subscription fee. It was about time I used some of the money I've been saving for something, I was starting to feeling like Scrooge McDuck. And it was about time I did some exercise too - I haven't done proper exercise in six years, and as a result I can't run 100 metres to catch the bus without getting out of breath for ten minutes. Thank goodness I'm not fat. I've got a little extra fat around the thighs, but that's it.

Now, I've never been a fan of gyms. As my brother Christos said, there's no need to pay 170 euros in order to run (aka. do the treadmill) and do some exercises. And, to tell you the truth, I'd like doing a sport better, but I can't possibly start a sport in my current physical condition. I could exercise at home, but a) I feel more confident knowing that there's a professional guiding me and b) knowing that I've paid for it in advance, I'll be less likely to slack off *g*

It went surprisingly well. I got tired, but not *dead* tired. I didn't come back home hungry, and I'm feeling fine so far (though it's only a matter of hours until my legs start feeling like bricks, I'm sure). Now I'm kind of sleepy, but, well, I *did* wake up early to catch La Mentira :p

So, this entry marks the day when "I" and "the gym" fitted together in the same sentence. A day to remember, indeed.

See ya,
Anna.

Lol, yay for you! *g* I need to get more exercise myself, but once I'm back at college with my Jewish dancing group, that'll be taken care of for sure.

YAY! good for you!

plus, the more you advance in academic level, the more stressfull it will get and sport's brings a good balance.I know it did for me in Uni (at least twice a week). So, double YAY!

LOL on Christos comment. But sometimes forcing yourself into a regular gym schedule is a good way to get started. I know I couldn't do it alone at home. That only works for oriental dance. And not even then. I need the group effect as a booster. Speaking of, gotta renew my subscription too! ;)

OH, can't remember the date but safe trip and all the best to Thodoris and Tassos "the great" (g). :)

I didn't have a key on my keyboard, but I found it in Symbols (Word) :)

They left on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. I will pass your wishes on to them :)

See ya,
Anna :)

Pesonally I wouldnt be caught dead at a gym. And that is bad. I would so preffear to take up a sport as a hobby. I mean nowadays there are thousands of sports out there. There is bound to be one I would like. All in all I have had my fill of exersise. I use to swim daily until I was sixteen. And until I was about 12 I had physiotherapy once a week. I dont miss it. No exersise was never my thing. Not even when I was thin. (Which was until 2004). Good for you for having hte guts to do so.

I think the gym is better. I have tried doing exercise at home (even got me one of those workout videos) but you're right, things are bound to get in the way and keep you from doing it. The other plus about going to the gym is that you get to meet cute guys do get a bit of scenery change.

So, go you!

Oh no, Anna! Don't tell me you're all healthy and active going to the gym! It'll make me feel guilty for lazing around being a bum :(
