Fic grumblings
Jul. 1st, 2006 11:01 pmOuf, I hate it when that happens.
There I had this scene all written and good, when I stumbled across an extract of the book in an essay I was reading and noticed a minor detail that had gone over my head.
Which makes the scene as I have written it out of canon.
Well, technically, it doesn't change much, and I think that my scene would be a more-or-less valid rendition of what had happened, but that's not good enough for me. Like The Journey Of The Phoenix, Through Times Of War (its sequel) must stick 100% to canon.
Gnyah. There goes a perfect scene. And the Muse won't cooperate and let me fix it. My attempts to edit it are being rather crappy, so far.
*grits teeth*
I *hate* it when that happens.
See ya,
Anna.
